HoliTrot Fall Festival Trail Run
The HoliTrot Fall Festival Trail Run takes place at HoliMont in Ellicottville, New York on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The event includes a mountaintop kids race and a downhill trail 5K that uses mountain bike trails and finishes at the base of the Exhibition Lift.

- 5K Trail run across the mountain top then downhill on bike trails
- Kids Race About a mile around Saddle Pond on the mountaintop
Both races begin with a ride up the Exhibition Lift to the top of the mountain. The 5K descends along trails with rocky patches and some uneven footing, so trail shoes are recommended. The course offers views across the valley. The kids race runs along the top; children may ride the chairlift back down after the finish.
Awards and extras include top three overall for each gender, a Top Team award for teams of six or more, and a new costume contest with prizes for best adult, best kid and best team. T-shirts will be available to runners who register before September 28, 2026. Registration is open August 24 through October 10, 2026 with different fees listed for preevent and race day. At the finish runners receive a race tee and there will be beer, cider and soup from Dina's at the Mont. Spectators may ride the lift free and the mountaintop serves as a viewing area.
