HAM & LYME SUMMER 2027
Ham & Lyme Summer 2027 is the 12th edition of the Ham & Lyme ultra event in the South-West, scheduled for Saturday 3rd July 2027. The event offers long-distance trail running over two distances and uses the local Liberty Trail as its route.

The 50 km option is currently at capacity; interested participants should contact the organiser for current availability. The 100 km entry period will open after the event. Entry prices for 2027 were increased to £40 for the 50 km and £75 for the 100 km.
The course follows the Liberty Trail, a route based on the 1685 journey of six villagers who joined the Monmouth Rebellion. The finish is on the seaside, where spectator support is notable at times. Runners on the 50 km and 100 km courses pass each other during the event, and mutual encouragement between competitors is commonly reported. The start typically shows a wide variety of running club colours and group presence. Lighter, informal elements of the event are also mentioned, such as participants taking novelty photos.
