Halloween Fun Run at Thorpe Farm Centre
This event is a Halloween-themed community fun run held at Thorpe Farm Centre in support of The UTASS (Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Service). Entry is taken on the door at £2 per person and all proceeds are donated to UTASS.
Distances offered:
- Adults: 5K
- Children: 2K or 5K
A best dressed competition runs alongside the races with prizes and a small ceremony awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for both adults and children. Hot food and drinks will be available at the finish line and there will be themed tricks placed around the course.
Participation notes state that suitable footwear is required, runners and walkers should stick to marked routes and follow marshals’ instructions, and children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Marshals will be positioned along the route to guide participants and provide assistance.
The course may include uneven or slippery surfaces and obstacles such as stiles, steep ground, or vegetation; participants are advised to slow down or walk where necessary.
