Halloween Fun Run - Thorpe Farm Centre
The event is a family-friendly Halloween fun run at Thorpe Farm Centre that raises funds for The UTASS (Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Service). It is described as Thorpe's answer to a park run and includes costume elements and light entertainment around the course. Entry on the door is taken at £2 per person, with all proceeds donated to UTASS.

- Children: 2K or 5K
A best dressed competition runs for adults and children, with prizes and a small ceremony awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in both age groups. Hot food and drinks are available near the finish area. Organisers also arrange small fun tricks along the route.
Participation and safety guidance notes that suitable footwear must be worn where uneven ground or trails are expected. Runners and walkers should follow the marked routes and the instructions of marshals, who will be positioned along the course. Children must be accompanied or supervised by a responsible adult. Course surfaces may be uneven or slippery and can include obstacles such as stiles, steep ground or vegetation. Animals and dogs may be present on or near the course so caution is advised.
