Halloween Fun Run at Thorpe Farm Centre
This community fun run at Thorpe Farm Centre supports the Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Service (UTASS). Entry is taken on the door with a £2 fee per person and all proceeds are donated to UTASS.
Races are organised for different ages:
- 5K for adults
- 2K or 5K options for children
A best dressed competition awards prizes for first, second and third places in both adult and children categories. Hot food and drinks are available at the finish area. The course includes playful elements described as "fun tricks" along the route.
Safety guidance asks participants to wear suitable footwear where uneven ground or trails are expected. Runners and walkers should stick to marked routes and follow marshals’ instructions. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The course may be uneven or slippery and can include obstacles such as stiles, steep ground, or vegetation; participants should slow down or walk if necessary. Marshals will be positioned along the route to guide participants and provide assistance. Animals and dogs may be present on or near the course so caution is advised.
