G.O.A.T. 5K : Johns Island
The G.O.A.T. 5K is a trail event held on 05/01/2027 at The Goatery at Kiawah River, 3883 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC. The main event is a chip-timed 5K trail run. A separate kids 5K for ages 10 and under is offered; children’s entries are not chip timed, do not appear in official reports, and do not receive race swag.

Registration details are provided with tiered fees: standard 5K registration is $45, increases to $55 after 04/01/2026, and race day registration is $60. One listed registration open date is 05/28/2026 and a listed close date is 03/29/2027 for the main entry; the kids registration window differs.
Packet pickup is available Friday, April 30 at Blue Sky Endurance, 624 Coleman Blvd., Mount Pleasant, SC, and there is race day packet pickup on site the morning of the event. The course is natural terrain and all-terrain strollers are required when used; strollers are asked to start in the rear.
Event organizers describe the race as 100% eco-friendly. All finishers receive a commemorative hat and a farm-fresh plant in place of medals.
