About the race
Pendle Trail Running Club will host the Gisburn Forest Trail Races on 7 August 2027 at Gisburn Forest Hub, Slaidburn, Lancashire (BB7 4TS, GB). The event offers two measured trail distances and published elevation profiles.
The races are licensed by the Trail Running Association and run in adherence to England Athletics rules. Entrants must be 18 or older on the event date. Entries open 22 September 2026 and close 6 August 2027 at 23:55. Entry fees are listed separately for UKA members and non members: 10 km entries are £25 for UKA members and £27 for non members; Half Marathon entries are £35 for UKA members and £37 for non members. Optional race t-shirts can be pre-ordered for £19.
Included with entry are race mementos and goodies, a Gisburn Forest 2027 race medal, professional race photography, a fully flagged and marshalled course, professional chip timing, on-site refreshments with hot and cold food and drinks, and professional event safety coverage and first aid. Male and female category winners are recognised. GPX route files and elevation details are available for each distance.
