About the race
The GFRC Busa Bushwhack Trail Races take place on 11/15/2026 at Brophy Elementary School, 575 Pleasant Street (Route 30), Framingham, MA 01701. The event uses the natural trails of Callahan State Park and includes indoor pre- and post-race use of facilities.

- 5.3 Miles
- 10 Miles
The trail surface includes hills, rocks, and roots. The first 0.3 mile and the final 0.6 mile of each race are on road, with the finish at Brophy Elementary School. Courses are well marked and have mile markers. Water stops are provided: one on the 5.3 mile course and two on the 10 mile course.
Registration opens on 7/20/2026. Published entry fees are $25 until 10/15, $35 until 8:00 PM on 11/14, and $45 until 8:30 AM on race morning. Check-in begins at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:45 AM. Organizers ask participants to carpool when possible.
Safety and race policies note that pets are not allowed on the course and that headphones and AirPods are discouraged. Awards are log trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers, plus 1st place log trophies for male and female age groups 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+, with no duplicate age group awards for the overall top three.
