Gator Tail 5K Trail Run
The Gator Tail 5K Trail Run takes place on October 17, 2026 at Northshore Technical Community College in Lacombe, LA, 65556 Centerpoint Blvd. The course begins and ends at the NTCC campus and passes through a wooded area and around the southwest perimeter of the Tamanend development.
Runners traverse a variety of surfaces including gravel, dirt, grassy paths and a short section of pavement. There are three water stations along the route. Event options for younger participants include the Gator Gallop half mile run across a field on the NTCC campus and a 1 Mile Fun Run held on pavement.
All registered runners receive a race participation medal and a Gator Tail 5K Trail Run t-shirt. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third place male and female finishers in the Gator Tail 5K and in the Gator Gallop kids run.
Sponsorship packages include complimentary registration for a team of runners and reserved space for a 10'x10' tent or canopy. Sponsors also receive name or company logo placement on the event t-shirt and sponsor board, name recognition on the NTCC website, and social media recognition on Facebook and Instagram.
