Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run 2026

The event takes place on 20 September 2026 at Fyvie Castle in Turriff, Scotland. It is held in conjunction with the Fyvie Parent Council to raise school funds. Registration closes 11 September 2026.

Distances and categories include:

  • 5 km multi terrain run; over 5s; under 11 must be accompanied (chip timed)
  • 1600 m trail run for primary school to 14 years (chip timed)
  • 800 m trail fun run up to 14 years; under 5s must be accompanied

Finishers medals are awarded in all races. The 800 m and 1600 m races have first boy and first girl prizes. The 5 km race awards first, second and third male and female prizes.

Entry fees listed for the event are £11 for the 5 km, £6 for the 1600 m and £4 for the 800 m. The 5 km and the 1600 m are chip timed; the 800 m is a fun run and the trail surface may not suit some buggies.

Fyvie Castle will offer refreshments on the day, including tea, coffee, bacon rolls, items from the tea room and ice creams from the shop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
