Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run 2026
The event takes place on 20 September 2026 at Fyvie Castle in Fyvie, Turriff AB53 8JS, Scotland. It is held in conjunction with the Fyvie Parent Council to raise school funds. Registration closes on 11 September 2026.
Distances on offer:
- 5 km (multi terrain)
- 1600 metres
- 800 metres
The 800 metre fun run is open to all ages; under 5s must be accompanied. The 1600 metre trail run is for primary school age up to 14 years. The 5 km multi terrain run is for those over 5 years; children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The trail routes may not be suitable for some buggies.
All races provide finishers medals. There are first boy and first girl prizes in the 800 metre and 1600 metre races, and first, second and third male and female prizes in the 5 km event.
Catering is available from Fyvie Castle with tea, coffee, bacon rolls and ice creams. Entry prices and timing format listed by the organiser: 5 km £11 (chip timed), 1600 metres £6 (chip timed), 800 metres £4 (fun run). A per participant fee of £0.45 plus 5% applies.
