Froggy Mountain 100
Froggy Mountain 100 is scheduled for June 18, 2027 in Galax, VA, and is organized by Froggy Mountain Adventures. The event offers two ultramarathon distances on a private one mile trail that winds through a small mountain forest, averaging about 500 feet of climb per mile.

Both the 50 and 100 mile races use the same looped course. Runners have a 60 hour cutoff. Pacers are permitted after 50 kilometers. Aid support includes stations approximately every mile, hot food served throughout the event, a mini second aid and water station on course, and camping toilets on course. Free car or tent camping is available for runners and crews, and crews may set up adjacent to the aid station. The race provides shared indoor amenities at the main house including showers, flushing toilets, and kitchen access; there are also private rental options with stated nightly rates.
The 100 mile finisher receives a custom buckle that honors fallen service members and those lost to suicide; 50 mile finishers receive a Froggy medal. Organizer notes advise bringing an extra headlamp or batteries for night running, considering poles, carrying extra salt in warm weather, and training on steep or stair-like climbs.
