Fright and Flight 5K
The Fright and Flight 5K is a community race on October 4, 2026, at Hyde Lake Pavilion in Shelby Farms Park, Great View Drive North, Memphis, TN. The event includes a 5K course, a 5K Cross Country Team category, and a Kids Fun Run.
Proceeds benefit the Dorothy Day House, a nonprofit that supports homeless families in Memphis by providing housing assistance and job support. The event also aims to engage families of the Dorothy Day House in seasonal Halloween activities.
Registration fees vary by category and by registration date. Example fees listed are: 5K early registration $34.09 with higher fees closer to race day, 5K Cross Country Team early registration $23.39, and Kids Fun Run $18.04. Registration policies note there are no refunds unless a Refund Protection Program was purchased and that management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions.
