About the race
Forest Trail Run is a community trail running event set around Manly Dam and Bantry Bay at Ararat Reserve, Frenchs Forest, Sydney.
The event offers four distances:
- 2 km
- 6 km
- 12 km
- 20 km
All courses are fully marked and feature single-track trails and uphill sections. Individual timing and published results are provided. Every finisher receives a medal, and the event includes prize giving and presentations after the races.
An event centre at the reserve hosts vendor and food stalls and a family-friendly atmosphere for runners and supporters. Parking is available in nearby residential streets and the site is also accessible by bicycle. Public transport options are limited; bus route 141 stops close to the event centre.
