About the race
Narrabeen Twilighter 2026 is the inaugural edition of a trail event at Jamieson Park on The Esplanade, adjacent to Narrabeen Lake, about 20 km north of Sydney. The main format is a solo 6-hour ultra where runners aim to cover the greatest distance. There is also a team event for pairs and a separate marathon, all held on the same course. The course is a measured 5.275 km out-and-back trail loop on a bush trail that heads west from the start area, crossing a small bridge west of the car park.
The organiser notes the trail is flat, smooth and fast, but the measurement is not certified for records. Headlamps are required. Solo divisions include Male and Female plus age groups, with a minimum of three entrants required to form an age group. Team categories are Male, Female and Mixed.
Water will be available at the event but no cups will be provided; runners must carry bottles and any additional fuel needed between aid points. Race packs and bibs are available for collection from noon. There will be no formal briefing on race day; briefing information will be emailed to entrants and questions can be directed to the event Facebook page. A presentation is planned once full results are compiled, around 8:15 pm.
Refunds follow tiered rates depending on withdrawal dates, with allowances considered for extraneous circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
