About the race
Narrabeen Twilighter is a first edition trail running event held at Jamieson Park beside Narrabeen Lake, NSW. The main solo event is a timed trail race to cover the most distance in six hours. There are also a team event for pairs and a separate marathon, all starting together. Course details: the race uses a measured 5.275 km out and back trail loop adjacent to the lake.
The trail runs west from the start area, passes over a small bridge near the car park, and follows bush trail terrain. The organiser notes the trail is flat, smooth and fast, but the course is not certified for records. Categories: solo races have Male, Female and age group divisions where a minimum of three entrants is required for an age group. Team entries are offered in Male, Female and Mixed categories. Facilities and rules: headlamps are required.
Water will be available with no cups supplied, so runners must use their own bottles; participants must carry water and fuel as needed between aid points. Race packs and bibs can be collected from noon on event day. The event lists refund rates for withdrawals with specified percentages depending on the date, and the team entry fee is charged as two athletes per team.
