About the race
The Forest Park Cross Country Festival includes an all-comers open race held at Langenberg Field in Forest Park, Saint Louis, Missouri. The open race is organized as a separate event within the festival and is listed as a 5K distance.

This edition introduces a team competition. Teams may register through the same entry process and scoring will follow traditional cross country scoring procedures.
Race bibs are available only on the morning of the race at the timing tent near the finish line; there is no pre-race-day pick up. Participants who ordered a T-shirt will receive a voucher to collect their shirt at the T-shirt tent on race day.
The festival schedule also features high school cross country competition with athletes from the Midwest, providing additional races and spectator opportunities around the open event.
