FOBS 5K Trail Run and Colour Run
Friends of Box School (FOBS) organise a fundraising event at Box Recreation Ground, Box, Wiltshire, to raise money for Box Primary School. The event is open to everyone and follows a 2025 edition. Profits go to enhancing the experience and wellbeing of the school’s children.
The event features two main activities:
- 800 m Colour Run loop with 4 colour stations.
- 5k Trail Run on a signposted, marshalled loop.
The Colour Run is non-competitive and designed for all ages and abilities; participants may complete one or two laps and pass through powder colour zones staffed by volunteers. The 5k Trail Run is a looped, mixed-terrain route through grassy fields in the Bybrook valley with views of Box Tunnel. All 5k participants receive chip timed results provided by a local timing team.
Certificates are provided for all finishers. Race headquarters are on the recreation ground near the start and finish area. Refreshments such as tea, coffee, cake and light bites are available to purchase. Toilets are available in the pavilion. Parking at the venue is limited so walking, cycling or car sharing are suggested where possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
