Five Fields Farm Races
Five Fields Farm Races take place at Five Fields Farm, 720 S Bridgton Rd, Bridgton, ME, and are organized by Loon Echo Race Series. The event includes two trail race options:
- 50K
- 10K
The Five Fields Farm 50k is a three lap figure 8 course that uses trails in the Bald Pate Preserve and Holt Pond Preserve. Each lap is a little over 10 miles with about 1,350 feet of elevation gain. The route includes steep climbs, narrow technical singletrack, and long rolling sections, and each lap finishes by passing through the apple orchard. Small segments cross private property; runners are asked to respect landowners.
The Bald Pate 10k is a rugged course with approximately 1,800 feet of elevation gain. The route features technical singletrack, steep climbs including a section described as very steep, downhills, muddy sections, and scenic viewpoints near Foster Pond.
Aid on course for the 50K includes two off-start aid stations plus start/finish support; supplies listed include water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, gels, and a range of snacks. The 10K has one aid station offering water, Tailwind, and light snacks. Event pricing shown in the event details lists $75 for the 50K and $35 for the 10K. Proceeds benefit the Loon Echo Land Trust.
