Moxie's Memorial 5k
Moxie's Memorial is a trail run and walk held in Oxford, Maine on October 4, 2026. The event starts and ends at Oxbow Beer Garden on Main Street and benefits Mission Working Dogs, a nonprofit focused on providing trained service dogs.
The course follows the blue ski trail called Anne's Moon Dance, then continues via a trail connector to the Mission Working Dogs training center and Moxie's Place before returning to the brewery. The route is organized as an out-and-back loop that uses established trails around the brewery and training property.
Event provisions include a race t-shirt for the first 200 in-person participants at check-in, and additional Mission Working Dogs merchandise available for purchase. For safety and liability reasons, only properly trained service dogs are permitted on the course; pets are not allowed. In-person participants aged 21 and over receive one beer ticket valid at Oxbow Beer Garden on the day of the event. Oxbow's kitchen will open early at 11 am to serve pizza and drinks after the run. Restroom facilities will be available before and during the event.
