Moxie's Memorial 5k
Moxie's Memorial 5k is a trail run and walk in Oxford, Maine, that benefits Mission Working Dogs. The event is based at Oxbow Brewing Company - Oxford (Beer Garden) on Main Street, with the course starting and ending at the Oxbow Beer Garden.
The route follows the blue ski trail named Anne's Moon Dance, uses a trail connector to reach Moxie's Place, continues up to the Mission Working Dogs training center, and returns to the brewery. Restrooms will be available before and during the event.
The first 200 in-person participants receive a race t-shirt at check-in. Additional Mission Working Dogs merchandise will be available for purchase. Due to safety and liability regulations, only properly trained service dogs are allowed on the race course; pets are not permitted. In-person participants who are age 21 or older receive one beer ticket to Oxbow Beer Garden, redeemable the day of the event only. Oxbow's kitchen will open early at 11 am to offer pizza and drinks after the event.
