About the race
Finlayson Arm is a trail race weekend held at Goldstream Provincial Park, Victoria, BC on September 12 and 13, 2026. The courses run over single track, double track and coastal mountain trails that pass through Arbutus stands and old growth forest. Runners encounter multiple sustained climbs that include ascents of Mt.
Finlayson, Mt. Work and the route from Mckenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill. The course also includes the Cascade Creek Waterfall climb out of McKenzie Bight. Race options and key logistics: - 50 mile : elevation gain 13,000 ft, 9 aid stations - 50 km : elevation gain 10,075 ft, 5 aid stations - 28 km : elevation gain 4,400 ft, 2 aid stations - The Double (50 mile + 28 km) : elevation gain 17,550 ft, 11 aid stations Each race finishes with an on-site finish line party.
