Fall Frolic 4 Miler | 8 HR : Hingham, MA

This is a trail running event held at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA, based at the campground check-in area. It offers multiple ways to participate on the same 4 mile loop through fall woods and trails.

Participants can choose between formats:

  • 4 miles: a single 4-mile trail loop.
  • 8 hour: complete as many 4-mile loops as desired within eight hours.
  • Backyard-style Last Human Standing variant: hourly loop starts with no elimination if a runner misses the cutoff.

The event provides a community food and drink table at the start/finish with gluten free, vegan, and nut-free options. Porta potties will be available at the start/finish area. Parking is arranged at a transfer station a few hundred feet from the campground entrance, and participants doing the 8 hour format may drop supplies at the campground before parking.

Recommended personal supplies include water, food, extra socks or shoes, and a change of clothes for longer efforts. Trail conditions in November may include mud and water. Packet pickup is available at the organizer’s gym location the day before and at the park on race day. The race director is the owner and head trainer of TA Fitness and has experience organizing running events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
