Elf on the Run 5K/Walk : Ridgeland
The event is a holiday-themed chip-timed 5K run/walk held at John Paul II Catholic School in Ridgeland, SC on 12/12/2026. The course uses mixed surfaces, including grass, dirt, and pavement.
Registration opens on September 5, 2026. Early registration rates apply through November 12; early fees are $40 for adults and $30 for students 17 and under. After November 12 the fees increase to $50 for adults and $40 for students. Participants who register by November 12 at midnight will receive a T-shirt; additional shirts may be available for purchase on race day while supplies last.
Race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, December 11 at the school athletic center. The event will be held rain or shine and no refunds will be issued. Medals will be awarded to the top male and top female finishers in each age group.
After the event there will be food trucks and a Christmas Market featuring local vendors. All proceeds benefit the John Paul II Catholic School PTO. The event is presented with a holiday theme and organizers invite participants to wear holiday attire. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
