Delirium Ultra 24 Hour Run, Beaufort SC
The Delirium Ultra is a timed endurance event scheduled for October 24, 2026 in Beaufort, SC, organized by Grounded Running. It offers three separate races on a closed loop trail course: 24 hour, 12 hour, and 6 hour events.
The course is a 1.65 mile hard-packed trail loop through the Habersham Community and is closed to vehicle traffic. Runners pass a single aid station at the completion of each lap; the aid station is stocked with basic first aid and a variety of food items during the event. Camping and a central "Tent City" are located directly on the course with primitive camping allowed Friday through Sunday and no open fires permitted in Tent City. Limited camper parking is available and requires advance arrangements with the organizer.
Entrants must register for the specific race they intend to run; race day changes are not allowed. There are no cancellations or transfers. Bibs must be worn on the front and an ankle transponder must be worn for the entire event; laps without the transponder will not be counted. Live results are provided as connection allows. Runners in the 12 and 24 hour events must carry a headlamp or handheld light for night running and are expected to follow organizer instructions about lighting.
Finishers of the timed events receive a 2026 finishers medal. In the 24 hour race, individuals who reach 100 miles or more receive a belt buckle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
