Elephant Trail Race
The Elephant Trail Race is a multi-distance trail and ultra-running event held in Port Macquarie, NSW on 16-18 July 2027. The event offers nine course distances ranging from a 2.5 km kids race to ultra distances, with the longest options listed as 217 km, 160 km, and 100 km solo.

- 13 km (different shorter course)
- 2.5 km kids race
Course format includes lap-based loops with a directional change every two laps for several distances. The 27 km loop includes a section called Death Valley for the 217 km, 160 km, and 100 km solo races. Support is provided on course and at a central race hub: checkpoints supply water, electrolytes, and a self-serve food buffet managed by volunteers; sanitizing and waste systems are in place; a medical tent is staffed at the hub. Finishers receive buckles or medals according to their distance and placing. The event enforces a ban on audio devices for participant safety and operates as a solo-only competition with provision for support crews at the race hub.
