ECT 50% Half Marathon
The ECT 50% Half Marathon is a trail race of 21K held on October 10, 2026, in Flatrock, Newfoundland and Labrador. The route uses sections of the East Coast Trail, including Father Troy's Trail, Silver Mine Head Path and Cobbler's Path, running between Flatrock and Red Cliff.
An aid station is located at Middle Cove Beach and will provide water and Gatorade. Assistance to runners is restricted to the aid station except for medical attention; crews are encouraged to support runners at aid stations with additional supplies.
Race rules require each runner to carry a whistle and a cell phone. The event runs rain or shine, so runners are expected to manage their own kit, nutrition and clothing for variable conditions. Runners who withdraw must notify the race director directly.
The event is part of the ECT Sampler Series and is supported by local organizations including the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters and Train 4 Trails. The listed registration fee is USD 44. Registrations and bibs are not transferable to other individuals, though transfers to another ECT Sampler Series race may be possible with advance notice.
