ECT 50% Half Marathon
The ECT 50% Half Marathon is a 21K trail race held on October 10, 2026 in Flatrock, NL. The route follows sections of the East Coast Trail, notably Father Troy's Trail, Silver Mine Head Path and Cobbler's Path, running from Flatrock to the Red Cliff parking area. The event is organized by the ECT Sampler Series and is supported by the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters and Train 4 Trails. The event is insured by CARA Canadian Adventure Racing Association.
Race check in and bib pickup take place near the starting line at Ann Waterman Family Park in Flatrock. Aid is available at the Middle Cove Beach aid station, where water and Gatorade are provided; runners may plan their own crew support at aid stations for additional needs. Runners are expected to carry a cell phone and a whistle and to be prepared for varying weather, as the event will proceed in rain or shine. Runners who withdraw must notify the Race Director directly.
Registration is offered through the event organizer and is listed with a single price of USD 44. Registration closes on the event date. Registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, although moving a registration to another ECT Sampler Series race is possible with advance notice.
