About the race
ECT 15 is a 15-kilometre trail race held in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador on October 3, 2026. The event is organized by the ECT Sampler Series and is offered as part of the ECT 50 Sampler Season Pass. The course follows the Stiles Cove Path between Pouch Cove and Flatrock. Race check-in and bib pickup take place at the starting area in Memorial Park in Pouch Cove.
Finish area parking is provided near the end of the course. Participants should be prepared for variable coastal trail conditions. The event is conducted rain or shine; runners are responsible for their own kit, clothing, and nutrition. Mandatory items include a cell phone and a whistle.
Each runner may have one drop bag, which will be accessible at the finish area. The ECT 50 Sampler Season Pass registers the holder for both ECT 15 on October 3 and the ECT 50% Half Marathon on October 10. Registration and bib numbers are non-transferable between individuals, though moving registration to another ECT Sampler Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered.
The event is supported by the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, and Train 4 Trails, and is insured by the Canadian Adventure Racing Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
