D&L RaceFest presented by St. Luke's - November 15, 2026
D&L RaceFest combines four organized events that use the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor's D+L Trail and finish in downtown Easton at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers. Starts occur in downtown Allentown and historic downtown Bethlehem for the marathon and half marathon events respectively.
The courses follow the D+L Trail along the Lehigh River and offer a net elevation drop. Surfaces include fine gravel and paved trail sections. The event information notes scenic river views and autumn conditions on a point to point layout.
Categories, eligibility, and field limits vary by event. Half marathon categories require a minimum age of 14 and parent or guardian permission for those under 18; all half marathon entrants must be able to complete the distance within 4.5 hours and the combined half-marathon field is limited to 1,350 entries in total. The full marathon requires a minimum age of 18, a 6.5-hour finish capability, and was capped at 500 racers in 2026. Relay teams are five persons, must meet age rules, and the relay field was capped at 85 teams in 2026. A Corporate Relay Challenge is available as a special marathon relay division with an associated prize package.
