Dirty Spokes Red Top Roaster Trail Run
This trail running event at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, GA offers two marked distances over park trails and loops. The courses start and finish in the parking lot of the Lodge at Red Top Mountain State Park and follow a sequence of trails that includes the lakeside trail, Sweet Gum Trail (red), Homestead Trail (yellow), and the Visitor Center Loop (green). The longer course routes through parking areas, past the tennis courts, and returns across park parking lots following the event cones.
Distances:
- 8.85 miles
- 3.1 miles
The 8.85 mile course has five water stations located at approximately 0.65, 1.85, 3.30, 6.45, and 7.65 miles. Packet pickup is available race morning. Entrants receive a super soft tri-blend shirt in men’s or women’s sizes, with no guarantee of shirt availability for late or race day registration.
Registration is capped at 325 participants because of parking and trail capacity. Pricing varies by date with early, late, and race day rates for each distance. Awards are given to the top three in each age and gender category; listed categories range from 14 and under through 80 plus, plus Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters for both male and female divisions.
