Run at the Rock 5K Trail Run
The Run at the Rock is a community trail event held at Woodland High School, 800 Old Alabama Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30120, USA. The event includes a community 5K and a 1 mile fun run and is presented as the third annual edition.

The 5K course includes grass sections and rugged trail terrain and features a notable 90 foot ascent known as "The Rock" in the second mile. The 1 mile course is a loop around the lower field that finishes at the same location as the 5K.
Pre-registration is available and closes on 11/30/2026. Pre-registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile. Race-day registration fees are higher at $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 mile, and a T-shirt is not guaranteed for race-day registrants. A packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Big Peach Running Co Cartersville.
5K awards include Top 3 overall men and women, overall masters men and women, and medals for the top 3 in each age category (10 & Under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & Over). The 1 mile awards include Top 3 overall men and women and medals for top 3 in the age categories 10 & Under and 11-14.
Parking uses a single main campus entrance with parking in gravel lots by the softball field and tennis courts, grass along the gravel access road to the cross-country course, and overflow near the football field and student parking lot.
