DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon and Super Seven Autumn 2026
This event is the tenth running of the Wyre Wizard trail races and takes place on 18 Oct 2026 at the Wyre Forest, Callow Hill Visitor Centre near Kidderminster. The programme includes a trail half marathon route of roughly 13 miles and a shorter Wyre Wizard Super Seven route of 7.6 miles.
The course runs through Wyre Forest woodland and varied terrain, passing ancient trees and sections with pronounced contours. The organiser provides race timing, category prizes, special finishers medals and finish goodies for all competitors. Medical cover and a tail runner are present, and the route is fully signed and marshalled. A public address system will offer commentary and shout outs during the event.
There are four water stations on course offering water and sweets. The Wyre Forest cafe at the visitor centre will be open for hot food, tea, coffee and cakes. Parking at the visitor centre operates on a pay and display system or with a Forestry parking permit, which must be displayed.
Age restrictions apply: entrants must be over 17 for the half marathon and over 14 for the Super Seven. Competitors must finish within four hours, after which timing ends. No refunds are issued under any circumstances, but an entry may be transferred once to another DirtRun event if the organiser is notified before the event.
