The Bournville Leafy 10K
The Bournville Leafy 10K is a multi-terrain 10K road and off-road race organised by Bournville Harriers. The course is two laps that start and finish on the playing fields at Rowheath Pavilion. The route uses parkland, streets and paths around Bournville and includes grass, woodland, paths, roads and a few short hills. Marshals are positioned to keep runners on course.
Race headquarters is Rowheath Pavilion, built by the Cadbury family in 1924. The pavilion provides a modern changing and toilet block and a cafe on site. A baggage tent is provided on the main field and bags are stored free for runners only; the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.
Entries are handled by EntryCentral. A limited number of early-bird entries are offered at a reduced price before standard pricing applies; an on the day option may be available subject to space. Fees listed by the organiser include: Early Bird: £24.00 unaffiliated, £22.00 affiliated Standard: £29.00 unaffiliated, £27.00 affiliated On the Day: £32 (subject to availability) A 4% EntryCentral service fee (minimum 50p) applies at checkout. Affiliated means registered with England Athletics, Scottish Athletics, or Welsh Athletics and entrants should have their URN ready.
Support runners can be provided a free place on request for competitors with a visual impairment or a disability. Parts of the course are on grass and the ground is uneven in places.
Every finisher receives a bespoke finishers medal and a goodie bag. Performance prizes include the first three men and first three women overall, veteran age-category awards across multiple age bands, and junior categories for U20 and U23.
