Bournville Leafy 10K
The Bournville Leafy 10K, affectionately known as "The Leafy", is a multi terrain 10 km organised by Bournville Harriers. The route comprises two laps that start and finish on the playing fields at Rowheath. Runners pass through parkland, tree lined fields, streets and parks in Bournville.
The course mixes surfaces including grass, woodland, paths and roads and includes a few hills. Marshals are positioned to keep runners on course. Road shoes are normally suitable; hybrids or trail shoes may be preferable if the weather has been wet.
Race headquarters is Rowheath Pavilion, built by the Cadbury family in 1924. The pavilion has a modern changing and toilet block and an on site cafe. A baggage tent is provided on the main field where bags are stored free of charge for runners only; the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.
Entries open on 25 July 2026 and close on 20 September 2026. The organiser offers 50 early bird entries at a reduced price, followed by standard and on the day pricing. Every finisher receives a bespoke finishers medal and a goodie bag. Performance prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women overall. Veteran categories cover ten year bands from 35–39 up to 75 plus, and junior categories include U20 and U23.
Location is Rowheath Pavilion, Heath Road, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1HH. Parking is available but limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
