The Bournville Leafy 10K
The Bournville Leafy 10K is a multi-terrain road and trail event organised by Bournville Harriers and held in Bournville, Birmingham on Sunday 27 September 2026. The race is a 10 km course completed as two laps that start and finish on the playing fields at Rowheath Pavilion, which serves as race headquarters.
The route runs across a mixture of surfaces including grass, woodland paths, park paths and roads, and includes some hills. Marshals are present on the course. Road shoes are normally suitable, with hybrids or trail shoes suggested if conditions are wet. Parts of the course have uneven ground.
Race facilities at Rowheath Pavilion include a modern changing and toilet block and an on-site cafe. A baggage tent operates on the main field and stores runners’ bags free of charge; organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Parking is available but limited. Support runners can be provided free of charge for visually impaired participants or those with a disability or medical condition.
Every finisher receives a bespoke finisher medal and a goodie bag. Performance prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women overall. Veteran categories are 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74 and 75+. Junior categories are U20 and U23. Entries are managed by EntryCentral and are sold out for this edition.
