Bournville Leafy 10K
The Bournville Leafy 10K is a multi-terrain race organised by Bournville Harriers. The course is 10 km made up of two laps that start and finish on the playing fields at Rowheath Pavilion, Heath Road, Bournville, Birmingham.
The route runs across parkland, grass, woodland paths and roads and includes a few hills. Marshals are stationed around the course. Road shoes are normally suitable; hybrids or trail shoes may be preferable in wet conditions. Parts of the course are uneven in places.
Race headquarters is Rowheath Pavilion, built by the Cadbury family in 1924, with a modern changing and toilet block. There is a baggage tent on the main field where bags are stored free for runners only; the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage. There are changing and toilet facilities and a cafe at Rowheath Pavilion. Parking is available but limited.
Entries for the event are sold out and EntryCentral is managing the waiting list. Entry pricing information for the event included early bird, standard and on the day tiers, with lower fees for affiliated athletes. Every finisher receives a bespoke finisher medal and a goodie bag, and performance prizes are awarded for the first three men and first three women overall, veteran age groups and junior U20 and U23 categories.
