Lone Wolf Birmingham 2026
Lone Wolf Birmingham is an endurance event held in the Wyre Forest near Bewdley. The race follows a format where participants attempt to complete a specific loop every hour, on the hour. The event continues until only one runner remains or until a 24-hour limit is reached. If multiple runners are still active on the 24th hour, the first person to cross the finish line on that final lap is declared the winner.
The course is a 6.7 km loop consisting of undulating forest tracks and single-track terrain through the woodlands. Participants can choose their own distance based on the number of laps they complete, ranging from a single lap to distances exceeding an ultra marathon.
Available facilities at the meeting point include:
- A café (open during daytime hours)
- Toilets and water points
- A large indoor room for changing and resting
- A first aid station
- Kitchen amenities including a kettle, small fridge, and microwave
Onsite paid parking is available and remains open for 24 hours. Participants are permitted to bring camping chairs, camp beds, and small gazebos or tents to set up a rest area near the start and finish line. Well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed to accompany runners. The event is open to individuals aged 18 and over. All participants receive a wooden medal, while the top male and female finishers receive a handmade wooden trophy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
