Dingneng Wang is a memorial marathon held on May 8, 2027 in San Diego, California. The event is organized by Best Runner Leaves No Tracks and uses Canyonside Park Driveway as the start and finish location, address San Diego, CA 92126. It was formerly known as PQ & GZ Trail Marathon and was renamed in memory of Dingneng Wang.
This is not organized as a race. There is no course marking, no aid stations, and no official support; participants are expected to be self supported. Personal crew or pacers are allowed. Runners may complete any portion of the course rather than the full distance.
There is no official timing. Participants who want a recorded result must register and then submit their time and proof of the run after completing the course. The course for this year is run counter clockwise and a GPX file and a recorded course route are available. Around mile 16 the route passes Torrey Pine North Parking Lot, where restrooms and water fountains are located. Registration closes May 1 at 11:59 PM PT.
