The Red Nose Run Del Mar
The Red Nose Run is a community fun run and walk held on Del Mar beach. The event is family and dog friendly and is presented by the Del Mar Foundation. It is organized entirely by a volunteer team and its proceeds benefit two San Diego based nonprofits.
Participants can choose between set course options, though distances may be changed depending on beach conditions on the day of the event.

The event supports Semper Fi and America’s Fund and the San Dieguito River Park. Semper Fi and America’s Fund provides care for critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families through one-on-one case management and lifetime support. The San Dieguito River Park works to preserve and restore land within its Focused Planning Area, protect waterways and sensitive resources, and provide a coordinated corridor of walking, equestrian, and bicycle trails for compatible recreational use.
