Devon and Cornwall Mini Backyard Ultra
The Devon and Cornwall Mini Backyard Ultra is an evening event on 27 August 2027 at Newnham Park, Plympton, Devon. It gives support crews, family, friends and the general public an opportunity to take a lap on the same format used in Backyard Ultra events.
Participants choose to complete one or two laps of a measured loop. Each lap is 4 mile long. Organisers will permit continuation onto the second lap even if a runner does not return in time for the first lap's cutoff, allowing a low-pressure experience for newcomers.
The event records a minimum age of 16 on the event date. Entry options listed include Mini Backyard (one or two laps chosen on the day), Crew Challenge, and Mini Backyard with a dog, each showing an entry fee of £12.50. Awards or recognitions noted for the evening include overall winner, first crew across the line, best dressed, and an overall doggy prize.
