Delamere Forest 10K, 21K and 42K, 25 April 2027
The event offers trail races of 10K, 21K and 42K at Delamere Forest Visitor Centre in Northwich (CW8 2JD) on Sunday 25 April 2027. Routes run through forest paths and open views, including Blakemere Moss, sections of the Sandstone Trail and Old Pale Hill.

The marathon is a two‑lap course that passes the event village at the midway point. Routes are marked with trail flags, tags, A5 arrows and signage; marshals are positioned at major junctions. Organisers provide a GPX file so participants can check the route and self-navigate if necessary.
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip timing, post race goodies and a bag drop. Aid stations supply water, electrolyte drink, fruit and a selection of snacks; there are two aid stations on the marathon loop and one on the half marathon loop. The 10K does not pass a water station on course. Water is also available at the finish.
Race packs are collected from the event village on the day; participants should bring their booking confirmation and photo ID. Delamere train station is a short walk from the event village and runner parking is available in Whitefield Car Park, about a 15 minute walk away. The course terrain and elevation make the event unsuitable for buggy runners and wheelchair athletes. Dogs may not run the course but are allowed in the event village if kept on a lead.
