Colorado 24 Hour Run - Fort Collins, CO
The Colorado 24 Hour Run is a timed endurance event held Nov 7 and 8, 2026 at Colorado Youth Outdoors Swift Ponds campus in Fort Collins, elevation 4,826 feet. The event offers multiple timed durations on a fully supported, USATF certified 1.0002 mile loop that is 100% dirt road and essentially flat.

Relay options are available for the same durations with team registration rules and a maximum team size of six. Registration is capped at 300 entrants and fees for each duration are tiered by date, for example 24 hour individual fees range from $150 to $200 plus processing fees depending on registration period.
The start/finish pavilion houses a full-service aid station supplied every lap with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free alternatives, hot food, drinks and snacks. Richardson Hall, a heated lodge about 0.2 miles off the loop, is open for respite, crewing and indoor bathroom access. Personal aid stations are permitted in a designated area near the start/finish with a maximum footprint of 10 by 10 feet; popup canopies are allowed but camping tents are not.
Key rules include counting only full laps toward totals, returning to the course at the same point when leaving the loop, and periodic direction reversals on the loop. The course is USATF sanctioned and certified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
