Colorado 24 Hour Run : Fort Collins, Colorado (Nov 7-8, 2026)

The event offers timed running in three individual durations and relay formats at the Colorado Youth Outdoors Swift Ponds campus in Fort Collins. The course is a certified 1.0002 mile loop (U.S.A.T.F. certificate ID CO240003MWC) composed entirely of dirt road at an elevation of 4,826 feet. The organizers note negligible vertical gain on the loop. The race is U.S.A.T.F. sanctioned (ID 155337) and capped at 300 entrants.

The start/finish pavilion hosts a full-service aid station available each lap with water, sports drink, gels, hot food, hot drinks, salty snacks, fruit, sweets, burgers and vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Richardson Hall lodge is approximately 0.2 miles from the loop and provides heated indoor space, restrooms and limited parking. Runners may set personal aid stations in a designated area (maximum footprint 10'x10'); camping tents are not allowed.

Key rules include counting only full laps at the timing mat, returning to the exact point on course after leaving, and completing a partial loop in the original direction if a reversal occurs while off course. Relay teams use a single bib for team lap totals. Dogs and fishing on the campus ponds are prohibited.
