Coldwater Trail Race
Coldwater Trail Race is a multi-day mountain bike and trail running event at Coldwater Mountain in Anniston, Alabama, held October 30 to November 1, 2026. The venue includes approximately 60 miles of purpose-built singletrack that ranges from flow sections to technical, rock-strewn descents.
The 2026 program adds two new mountain bike races and two new trail run races. Distances scheduled for the weekend include:
- 40-mile MTB
- 17-mile MTB
- 50K trail run
- 25K trail run
Event services and weekend activities include packet pickup and late registration on the first day, an evening fun ride and fun run, and a pizza and beverages gathering at NEABA headquarters. Mountain bike competition and support include packet pickup for MTB participants, race starts on the mountain, finish-line snacks and beverages, and shower and food options for finishers. Run events feature separate packet pickup and race starts on the final day. Additional weekend programming lists live music and food outside NEABA headquarters and a dinner buffet catered by Effina's with items such as Insalata Mista Salad, lasagna options, gluten-free bolognese, and garlic bread.
