Codfish Bowl
The Codfish Bowl is a cross country meet held on September 19, 2026, at Franklin Park Playstead Field in Boston, MA.
Races
- 5 km (3 laps, modified course)
- 8 km (4 laps, modified course)
The traditional Franklin Park courses are not available because of stadium construction; both distances will use modified courses. Course maps are expected to be available by the end of August.
Runners are advised to be capable of a 5 km time around 30:00 and an 8 km time around 45:00. Custom Codfish Bowl medals are awarded to the top seven individual finishers in each race. Plaques are presented to winning teams.
Entry is $15 per runner. The entry deadline is Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Minimum age is 16 on race day; this is not a youth race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
