Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 3/3
The Clowbridge 5k is a trail race of 5k run around a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway at Clowbridge Reservoir, starting from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club (Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF). The course is two laps of the trail path run anti-clockwise and has about 25 m of total elevation over 5 km. The event is open to competitors aged 11 and over.
This race is part of a three-race series held on 2, 9 and 16 September 2027. Entry fee is £6.50; entries open 27 September 2026 and close 15 September 2027. The course is marshalled and prizes are awarded in each race. Local parking is available at the lower car park of the sailing club and on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
