Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 2/3
A trail 5 km race on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course is two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir run anticlockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route is described as fast and flat with about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km.
The event is one of a three-race autumn series held on Thursdays on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. It is open to participants aged 11 and over. Each race is well marshalled and prizes are awarded in each race. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes. RunJMC is the organiser and is licensed under ARC pending.
Entries open 21 March 2026 and close 9 September 2026. The entry fee is £6.50. Entry requires logging in or registering details with SiEntries. Parking is available in the lower car park at the Sailing Club and on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir; organisers ask for sensible local parking.
