Clark 6 Hour Classic - Jamesville, NY
The Clark 6 Hour Classic is a USATF sanctioned timed trail event held at Clark Reservation near Jamesville, NY. The event is the final race in Salt City Trail Running's three-race series and is organized in cooperation with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation - Central Region. The format is a fixed-time event where each participant aims to complete as many laps as possible within 6 hours. Only whole laps count toward finishing mileage.
Course, timing and policies
The course is a loop of approximately 1.7 miles that begins and ends near the large parking lot. The loop includes smooth gravel pathways, dirt sections with small rocks, and areas with larger boulders that require route navigation. Runners must check in with the official timer after every lap so laps are recorded. No partial laps will be counted.
The race is organized as a trail event with no rain date; planned thunderstorms may lead to delays but the event may still proceed. A waitlist will be maintained if the race fills. The refund policy: 50% refund available until August 31, and no refunds starting September 10. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
