Chupacabra Trail Races - Dixon, IL

Chupacabra Trail Races is a night trail running event organized by Meadows Monster at 1312 Washington Avenue in Dixon, IL. The course is a roughly 5 mile loop; race distances are determined by the number of laps required for each event. The surface is a mix of grass, gravel, and dirt with about 30% single track and the remainder at least 15 feet wide. Participants are advised to bring a headlamp.

There is one aid station at the start and finish area offering water and assorted snacks. Space is provided for drop bags and personal belongings at the start/finish. A special post race snack will be provided. Relay teams consist of three people with each person running one lap.

Entry fees are set per registration tier and category. Standard entry fees and day of registration fees apply; relay teams have a separate fee structure. All participants receive a tee. Day of adjustments for the number of laps are allowed and will be verified at check in for timing.
