Chupacabra Trail Races : Dixon, IL
Chupacabra Trail Races is a night trail running event organized by Meadows Monster at 1312 Washington Avenue in Dixon, Illinois. The event uses a roughly 5 mile loop; race distances are determined by how many laps each entrant completes.

The surface on the loop combines grass, gravel, and dirt. About 30 percent of the course is single track and the remaining sections are at least 15 feet wide. Relay teams consist of three people with each person running one lap.
There is one aid station at the start and finish area offering water and assorted snacks. Space is provided for drop bags and belongings at the start and finish, and a post race snack will be available. All participants receive a tee. Day of adjustments to the number of laps are allowed and are verified at check in for timing purposes.
Entry fees listed for the event are $35 for individual entries, $40 day of registration, $105 for relay teams, and $120 day of registration for relay teams. Registration closes Fri, Aug 13 at 11:59 PM CT. The event policy states that registration fees are not refundable and registrations are not transferable.
