Chief Ladiga 100
The Chief Ladiga 100 is a multi-distance running event in April 2027 in Jacksonville, AL, organized by Zombie Trail Races. The event uses a paved trail corridor through wetlands, streams, forests, farmlands, and foothills with mountain views.
The 100 mile course sends runners 50 miles on smooth pavement from Jacksonville to Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, GA and then back to the Jacksonville Community Center to complete 100 miles. Aid stations are placed no more than 8 miles apart and crews can access all but two of the 14 stops. Total elevation gain and loss for the 100 is about 3,500 feet and the event applies a 32 hour cutoff. The finish area will include food, beverages, music, and event apparel; finishers receive a commemorative buckle or medal.
Other race options include a 50 mile, a 50K, and a half marathon. The 50 mile route runs from Germania Springs to the state line and back to Jacksonville. The 50K is a point to point from the state line and the half marathon runs from Eubanks Welcome Center in Piedmont to the Jacksonville Community Center. A shuttle option is available for a fee.
