Autumn 100 : Centurion Running (Goring & Streatley)

The Autumn 100 is a 100 mile continuous trail race based in the twin villages of Goring & Streatley on the River Thames. The route is made of four 25 mile out and back spurs that use sections of the Thames Path and the Ridgeway national trails; each spur starts and finishes in Goring & Streatley. Total elevation is listed as 5000 ft (about 1500 m) and the course is roughly 20% road and 80% trail.

The event has a 28 hour finish cut off and is run under a UK Athletics permit. Race support includes 16 fully stocked aid stations, course markings in addition to National Trail waymarkers, and full medical cover. Aid stations on legs 2, 3 and 4 provide hot drinks; hot food is available at Goring. The aid tables offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, plus gels, electrolyte drinks, water and simple foods.

Entry details note a qualification requirement: completion of a 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2021 and race day, with qualifiers checked before the event. Entries for 2026 open 8 November 2025 and places are allocated first come, first served; there is a waiting list once the field fills.

Practical rules: pacers are permitted only from mile 75 for the final 25 mile leg and must run that full leg; crew access is not permitted. Drop bags are allowed at miles 25, 50, 75 and 100 and must be under thirty litres. Runners must carry mandatory kit at all times; missing items incur a one hour penalty. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
