Autumn 100 (Centurion Running)

The Autumn 100 is a continuous 100 mile (161 km) trail race based in the twinned villages of Goring and Streatley on the River Thames. The course is four 25 mile out-and-back spurs that use sections of the Thames Path and the Ridgeway and together form a cross-shaped route that returns to Goring & Streatley after each leg. Total elevation is approximately 5000 ft (1500 m).

Terrain is roughly 20% road and 80% trail. Conditions can vary with up to 13 hours of darkness and the possibility of low temperatures, rain and wind in autumn. The course is marked by National Trail waymarkers plus Centurion reflective ribbons and arrows. Several road crossings are un-mars halled; runners are responsible for navigation.

There are 16 fully stocked aid stations offering supplies that cater to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free needs, including gels, electrolyte drinks, water, cola, snacks and fruit. Hot drinks are available on legs 2, 3 and 4; hot food is provided at Goring. Drop bags may be accessed at Goring at miles 25, 50, 75 and 100 and must be under thirty litres.

Entries open 8 November 2025 at 10:00 and places are first come, first served. The field is limited to 250 starters. To be eligible, runners must have completed a 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2021 and race day. Pacers are permitted only from mile 75 and must accompany the runner for the final 25 mile leg. Crews are not permitted. Full medical support is provided, and a range of mandatory kit is required with random checks and penalties for missing items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
