Autumn 100 (Centurion Running)
The Autumn 100 is a 100 mile continuous trail race based in the twinned villages of Goring and Streatley on the River Thames. The course is made up of four separate 25 mile out and back legs that use sections of both the Thames Path and the Ridgeway National Trails; the route forms a cross shape around the start location.
Key event facts: the distance is 100 miles (161 km) with approximately 5,000 ft (1,500 m) of elevation and a course surface mix of about 20% road and 80% trail. The event is limited to around 250 starters, features 16 fully stocked aid stations, and operates a 28 hour finish cut off. Course markings include National Trail waymarkers plus Centurion reflective ribbons and arrows. Full medical support is provided throughout the event and the race is held under a UK Athletics permit (permit pending).
Entry information: entries open 8 November 2025 at 10:00 and places are allocated first come, first served; the entry fee is £220 for UKA affiliated runners and £222 for unaffiliated. A qualifying standard applies: completion of at least a 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2021 and race day. Drop bags are available at miles 25, 50, 75 and 100 with a strict 30 litre limit. Crews are not permitted. Pacers may join from mile 75 for the final leg only.
All finishers receive a Centurion 100 mile buckle; additional buckles and prizes are awarded for time bands, podium places and age groups. Mandatory kit includes a fully charged mobile phone, 1 litre water capacity, survival blanket, waterproof jacket, whistle, primary and backup lights of at least 100 lumens each, warm hat, gloves, a long sleeve top carried dry, and a cup.
