Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon
The Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Active Heroes Retreat, 1022 Ridgeview Drive, Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The event is a legacy Active Heroes race held on the Saturday before Veterans Day to honor and support military members, veterans, and their families.
Both races use a hybrid course on the Active Heroes property that combines wooded trails and gravel roads. Most of the course miles run along wooded trails on the site.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Registration opens July 18, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026. Registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $50 for the Half Marathon. Registration includes an official Carry the Fallen tech shirt and a commemorative Carry the Fallen dog tag. The deadline to guarantee the tech shirt is October 24, 2026.
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female in each race. The overall male and female Half Marathon winners each receive a $50 Amazon gift card. The overall male and female 5K winners each receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
