About the race

The Brighton Marathon Weekend is an annual festival of running that takes place across two days in the coastal city of Brighton and Hove. The 2027 event is scheduled for Saturday 3 April and Sunday 4 April and expects up to 20,000 participants across multiple events.

The weekend includes a range of distances:

  • Brighton Miles
  • 10K Brighton and Hove 10K
  • Brighton Marathon

The event was founded in 2010, together with a free children’s event. Results for recent years are published online for reference.

Participants receive a Participant Guide by email. To access it they must set up an account with the organiser; accounts are being rolled out between 17 and 19 March. Entrants should check their junk or spam folder for the sign‑up link and contact the organiser if they have not received an invitation by Monday 23 March.

The Participant Guide contains practical Event Day information such as start and arrival details, bib number and key instructions. It also includes an event guide, audio guide, accessibility guide, a replacement pack QR code and links to download the event app. Volunteer opportunities and event resources are listed separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
