Brighton Backyard Ultra

The Brighton Backyard Ultra is an endurance running event based on the Backyard Ultra format. Runners complete repeated laps of 4 miles (6.7 km) on a strict hourly schedule: each lap must be finished within 60 minutes and any leftover time may be used to rest or recover before the next lap. The event has no minimum total distance and no predetermined finish line; participants continue attempting hourly laps until they cannot start the next lap. The sequence continues until only one runner remains.

The event’s cancellation and refund policy is specified by time before the event: full refund or deferral up to eight weeks, 50% refund up to four weeks, and no refund less than four weeks out. Included with entry are an entry ticket, participant medals, a winner trophy and medal, a rest marquee for those without a pitch, and a pitch to set up a rest area. Hydration and food provisions include hot and cold water plus drinks and snacks. Event photography is provided. Parking on site is paid only and is approximately £10 per day or charged hourly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
