Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2026
Breckenridge Oktoberfest is a three-day street festival held on Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado from September 25–27, 2026. The 30th annual event features traditional German food, local craft brews, wines, gluten-free seltzers and cocktails, plus live music across multiple stages.
Highlights include collectible steins available for pre-purchase and day-of sale at the Riverwalk Center, daily stein hoisting contests including a Baby Bjorn event on Sunday, and a newly expanded Kid Zone at the south end of Main Street with a bounce house and face painting. The festival footprint includes beverage tents, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
The Oktoberfest 5K is a trail run on Town of Breckenridge Trails that finishes in Blue River Plaza on Main Street. The race field is limited to 300 runners; the first 250 registrants receive a long-sleeve tech tee and participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary Oktoberfest beer.
Operations emphasize sustainability: alcoholic beverages are served in reusable r.Cups, water refill stations are available, vendors participate in a compost program, and the town has a local ordinance restricting sale of single-use plastic water bottles.
