The Silverheels Trail Runs are multi-distance mountain trail races held on Colorado's Front Range with average course elevation above 10,000 feet. The event includes both looped and point-to-point formats and uses single track, fire roads, and some dirt road sections. Runners pass high alpine and subalpine meadows, aspen groves, old mining sites and ghost towns, and can view the South Park Valley and multiple Colorado 14ers on clear days.

The 100k is a 100 percent point-to-point course. The 100-Mile course comprises 83 non-repetitive miles across three ranger districts and two US National Forests with an average elevation just over 10,800 feet. Start and finish locations include the Como Roundhouse in Como, CO, and the Burning Bear Trailhead #601 in Grant, CO for the 100-Mile and 100k starts.

Entries are limited by runner capacity: 100 combined for the 100-Mile and 100k, and 200 combined for the 50-Mile, 60k, 19-Mile, and 10-Mile. The organizer provides aid stations and allows drop bags at specified stations for some distances; drop bags are not supported for the 10-Mile or 19-Mile. Awards include a belt buckle for official 100-Mile finishers and medals for other distances.

The event requires qualifying results for 100-Mile and 100k entrants and an eight hour volunteer service requirement for 100-Mile entrants or a buy-out option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
