Spring Fling - Austin (Bigfoot Running Company)
Spring Fling Race Series takes place at East Metro Park in Pflugerville, TX on April 3, 2027. The event includes in-person running races and a virtual option, with course surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Race-day amenities listed include aid stations, post-race snacks at a Race Rally Tent, finisher medals, and race shirts. A live DJ and awards presentations are part of the event program. Awards include Bigfoot trophies for overall winners and standard age-group awards for the 5K and 10K.
Volunteer opportunities are available in multiple roles. A "Volunteer then Run" option provides a chip-timed 5K bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first five sign-ups. Full-race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 digital gift card. Packet pickup and race results are managed at the registration tent on race day. Shirt size guarantee is set at 10 days before the race. The organizer states the event proceeds in all weather.
