Hutto Turkey Trail Trot supporting Backpack Friends
The event is a Thanksgiving morning trail trot at Hippo Trails in Hutto, located at 3250 Limmer Loop, TX. Routes are on natural singletrack and dirt paths and range in length up to 3.1 miles. The event is not a chipped race and offers casual participation for walkers, joggers, and runners.

The trail surface is 100 percent dirt with leaves, rocks, roots and changing inclines, so participants should expect uneven footing. Kids and dogs are welcome; dogs must remain leashed and owners must clean up after them. Stroller use is not recommended and is at the user’s own discretion and risk.
Proceeds from the event support Backpack Friends, a local nonprofit focused on alleviating childhood hunger. Organizers will collect granola bar donations on race morning for the Backpack Friends warehouse. A registration fee of $20 is listed. The event includes post-trot amenities such as fire pits, music, a Kid Zone, wellness partners and local vendors, a communal Giving Thanks Banner, and an official event T shirt.
