Bertha Park Trail Run
Bertha Park Trail Run is a summer trail race held on 22 August 2026. The event features a 10km route around Bertha Loch and Almondbank, organised by Wee Run Events.
The August route follows the reverse course used for other dates, passing through Almondbank first then around Bertha Loch. The trail includes technical parts and muddy sections, runs through woodland with gentle hills, and is fully marked and marshalled. A February route option noted by the organisers reaches Almondbank and returns along the river and includes some tarmac sections; shoes suitable for both mud and tarmac are recommended for that variant.
Start and finish are on the green next to the visitor car park near Springfield Showhomes. Registration is at The Hub on Adamson Avenue opposite Bertha Park High School. The finish area provides toilets, refreshments, water and a Brownie voucher redeemable at Starfish Cafe and Bakery. There is a water station on course, a medic team, chip timing, live online results, and participant insurance.
All finishers receive a handcrafted medal made by The Workshop Aberfeldy. The event is sponsored by Starfish Cakes and Bakes, who provide a brownie for every finisher, and Springfield Homes provides the finish location. The entry fee listed for the event is £18.00.
